Yes! The new cd is finally finished and you can download it for free or listen to it on our Myspace!

We've also uploaded some new Promo pictures, shot by Cynthia Boers last year. Check them out over at the Pictures section.

As usual we experienced some delays with the new recordings. We decided to re-record the Cross of Fate song, it wasn't tight enough. The good news is that we did that last night and we're totally excited about the result! Constantijn will mix it as soon as possible so we can release it for you! Keep checking back for updates.

The recordings went great, by lunchtime we allready had the drums finished so we actually also recorder the guitars today!

Guess what?!?

It's our birthday!

That's right, in the summer of august 2003 Burning Darkness became what it is today! A group of friends jamming, having fun and kicking asses!

To celebrate this lovely event we will enter the studio again! Especially for you, our loyal fans, we will record a mini-CD containing 3 brand new tracks. This mini-CD will be available to download for free.

Next saturday will be the start of the recordings, we will be doing the drumtracks then! Photographs will be made, so be sure to check back here!

A couple of months ago we did a photoshoot with fotographer Cynthia Boers. We were waiting for a special occasion to release the photographs, so they will be released at the same time as the mini-CD!

We would like to thank everyone who came to the Chipolata gig on the 13th of October. It was a great gig for us and a special night!

We were able to finish the new cd "7 Holy Crosses" in time so we actually sold a few copies that night! You can order them by contacting us. We uploaded a few songs to the downloads section and you can also check them out at our myspace. We also uploaded a couple of pictures, taken by Cynthia Boers that night, to the pictures section!

It's been a while since you've heard from us but we're still alive and kicking!

We have a couple of surprises for you... First of all we will be sharing the stage with our friends from Detonation! and Gheestenland on October 13th in the Chipolata Houten.

And if that wasn't enough, here's the big bang : We've already recorded a new album! Our second cd, entitled '7 Holy Crosses' is currently being mixed by Constantijn. It will have 2 old tracks specially re-recorded (The Cantara Hills & The Ghost Tower) and 8 brand new ones!

We'll keep you informed on the release date!

We've also created a myspace page. Here you can listen to 3 songs! Including the special myspace bonus track 'het ezelliedje'.

We've decided to re-record the entire record. The previous recordings have been a huge learning process and we think we can do it a lot better now! Recordings are scheduled at the end of October and the beginning of November. The record will be recorded in Leerdam and will be produced by Constantijn de Jonge(bass/vocals). Mixing will be done in November & December. We planned the release at January 2007.

We've also updated the pictures section. You can now see the great tattoos from our guitar player Pieter!

We will put a little studio report online at the end of this month, so stay tuned for updates!

It's been a while but finally we have some news for you, some bad news and some good news.

The bad news is that the CD still isn't released because we just aren't sattisfied with the result. We're mixing the hole thing again from scratch!

The good news is that just when you thought our lead singer couldn't get more sexier, he made a Burning Darkness Videoclip!
That's right, you can download it straight away from the downloads page. The clip is a nice compilation of video footage we have from the Chipolata gig. So go watch it!

The new site is online as of today (17-10-2005). Of course, things are perfect right away, so there's no need to contact the webmaster ;-).
